Today was bad for a number of reasons: The miscommunication between myself and Granny. The crazy number of people coming and going, and having to go to Wal-Mart. I hate Wal-Mart.

Granny and I are literally tied to the house, we can't leave for long, and one of us has to be here. I can't go much of anywhere, because if Bill wants to get up, or they want to move any furniture I am the only one who can do that. If I were to get a job, I would worry about them all day. If I were to move out I would worry about them a lot. When I went on that trip I worried about them the entire time I was gone, and even drove all the way home on the weekends just to be here at least for the trash. Unless you have tried living with a person with a disability, you don't get how much it does take out of you. You can't just go to a friend's house for a cup of coffee, you have to plan a week in advance to do it. You can't just leave the person with his grandparents, he's 80. You have to plan, and call, and pay someone to come and make sure he doesn't hurt himself because he has dementia and gets frigidity. And you can't take him anywhere, because he can't do much, and he gets very tired, and sick in the car. And the chore that it is to even get him into the car is horrible.

Its just very annoying when people think that I am just freeloading here. I am not. *grumbles and heads off to the car to unload things*

Well, I need a haircut, again.

I have decided to join the SCA. Why? because it's freaking awesome! I have discovered the Barrowdowns. And I have joined Kelticos. That is a great forum for those of you who are interested in the Iron Age. I really should update some of the links I have on that old post about sewing. And I have been conversing with some of the poeple there.

My mother is a Blevins.

I read some Stephen R. Lawhead as a kid and fell in love with the Iron Age. Not just that I also am a fan of a few other books that are set or have some weird connection to it. And I also have to blame my mother for the interest as well. And the general fact that I have always been a little weird. I mean I tried teaching myself Latin when I was 12, didn't work.

I have also, always loved sewing. I blame mom for that too. She is a nut, and is always encouraging this kind of thing. She taught me how to sew, and from there I have taught myself quite a bit about pattern drafting and other things. One cannot have too many books about anything. I inherited some leather working tools from my grandfather, well I borrowed them when I was a kid and then he died, so I kept them. Mom has been trying to steel them for years. I actually have used some of them. I am not very good with leather just yet. I mean not as good as my sewing is. I finally got a sewing machine a year ago, before that I was hand sewing and using my grandmother's old Singer Featherweight from the early 50's- you know the kind that can pull your arm off when you try to pick it up. Brb I need to go help my step-grandpa(he's nice, and funny, and kinda dementia like) hehe that was great! he doesn't know what a high five is off the bat. Anyway, I am working on a costume, I am using what I can get locally, which sucks cause I am being forced to use Cotton. *dies* Grrrr. Anyway, that's what I can get. I don't do a lot of buying of things online, except for school books, and that's because I don't have money most of the time. So far I have most of my tunic done, and I need to get the rest finished. I was very lucky the other day at the thrift store because I found a piece of wool tartan fabric, and it's not a print either. It's the good kind, like the scarf that I have that is either Douglas or Morgan, can't remember. Now, the shoes are the thing that I am really obsessing over at the moment. My granny thinks I should use moccasins, and I am like No! I am pushing it using cotton.

Yes I live with my grandparents. I am going to school for my bachelor's. Don't know if I am going for my BA in Anthropology or Archeology, or a BS( no pun intended). I also, am here to help out with the chores and the grandparents. It's great its like having 80 year old children. My grandmother is not so bad, she's just pessimistic. Yesterday I told her to stop talking for a few minutes and say one thing positive. And then there are the cats. They love to play with my projects, especially when it includes large sharp objects.

I also, have an Iron Age character in Milliways_bar, he's from one of Lawhead's books. He is one of my favorite characters. Long live the Bards. He is also now addicted to Chocolate, as Milliways is a pan dimensional bar, and potatoes. He is terrified of guns, he passed out when Agent K was blowing up demon bunnies. He has some PTSD from a plot from a while back because of some dreams that nearly killed him. He's got scares from those. He can finally go back into the infirmary. I am running a plot with a friend of mine, and its been going on for about a year or so, and Tegid has been stuck in the bar since. I have been working on my garb, it's kinda fun. I have a new cat. He's silly. His name is Tasselhoff Kissyfur Greycat II. Other than that the holidays have kicked my butt to oblivion, and I can't wait for classes to start.

Kyle got a bike for CHristmas! it's funny watching him ride it. I leaned some Tablet weaving this break. It's pretty cool.

I am back online. I have my internet back. ....

um.... yeah homework is still eating my soul. I am currently eating breakfast and waiting for coffee. I still need a shower and to take out the garbage. I also have homework to do sometime today.

I got an A on my math Test! I am so proud of myself. And I got an A on my Religion paper! I am proud of myself.

I get to hang out with Batty on Sunday, that's freaking awesome! I been missing her, and Christopher is coming to town on leave Sat.

On a more somber note. Cat and Greg broke up. And it's more along the lines of WTF?! No warning, no good reason, she just up and broke up with him and not two weeks later she's got another bo. WTF?! Greg is devastated. I am pissed cause she hurt one of my best friends. And she's just being a bitch. Greg and I hope that this guy is what is best for her and makes her happy. Doesn't mean we aren't pissed off. So, we been hanging out more.

Other than that, I have Asperger's. Woot for the apsie club!

Well, it looks like I should be getting my net back in the near future. This is all due to the fact that my grandmother is having trouble keeping the finances in order, and I can, I just need the current statements up to the day. *headdesks* And then there is homework! Homework is evil! It's like eating my soul ( what hasn't been eaten by Milliways and other things). So, just wanted to let you all know that before I head off to do homework, I am not sure if I am going to stay in the Library or go to the Caf., but either way I will not have access regular like, for a few weeks at most, I hope.

I got a flu shot yesterday, I am so freaking scared of needles is stupid. Other than that I got nothing.

That's right, I have a new niece! I am so excited! I wonder why they didn't tell me the day she was born, I just found out this weekend. I waited to post the happy till I knew how much she weighed and what her name is. I still need pics. I will call my brother tomorrow to bug him about that. We are not a very close family, but we still love each other.

Her name is Ravyn Coryn-Lee Tibbetts 7lbs 12 ounces. Mom says she's fat and round like I was when I was a baby, and that she has dark hair. Can you tell my brother is a sci-fi geek?

Geeze!!! Why is it that half the people I talk to think that Anthropology is a good idea and the others tell me it's bad? I mean, I have thought it out you bastards!!!!

Well, I am working on financial aide. I have an interview at school for a work study position. I hope I can land it, get my family off my back. I am honestly trying to get my life together. I have been going to bed very early and waking up all kidnda of early too.

At least I think it is allergies. I should start blogging my doll that I am working on. I will, just right now I feel so sick it's pathetic. I might go back to sleep.

Collars are evil little bastards. I have been fighting with one for the last 2 days. I will eventually learn how to make one correctly. Aside from that the sleeves on Alucard's coat are too long, and his boots look like shit.

Oh, and the Wallie, the movie, was wonderful! I went to see it with Lena, and Kyle. We all had a great time. I was not sure how Lena and Kyle would get on together, as she's not a kid person, and he's 7, but they got on like to peas in a pod. He loves her!!! I do too, but then she's one of my Friends( not like how we call those people that are really acquaintances friends). Anyway, I can't decide on vid games to watch now, oh my brothers and fellow bloggers, I have 3 I have the desire to play, and only one can be played at a time. Sorry, I watched Clockwork Orange the other day too. Oh, and Death at a Funeral, is the funniest damned movie I have seen in a long time.

It might rain, if this is allergies, i hope it does.

Well, I joined the Gaelic singers group in Alb. It's so far interesting I am rather embarrassed. Why am I the only person my age interested in this?

this is gonna be fun. I am gonna be practicing the music everyday, and I also plan on learning Welsh and maybe Gaelic as well. So, i will have a few study times a day. Woot!

HOLY CRAP!!! I JUST PLAYED IN THE MUD LIKE A LITTLE KID!!!

It was so much fun. We have this kinda sand like beach sand around here, so it's more sandy than muddy. Kyle and I had a lot of fun with it. It's not everyday that I get down and dirty and make small lakes in the back yard.

My plants are now potted. I hope they grow. I planted like 6 kinds of flowers, thyme, and basil.

okay my grandmother's uncle died last sat. his funeral was on wed. and Granny broght back this great quote from him.

I love that. I personally don't want people moping when I die, I wanna have them be happy for me. Anyway, that's what I think should happen with most people, when they die. We, as humans, and Americans, treat death way too seriously. I mean, isn't it great that the dead are not here anymore, and in a better place than this shit hole. I mean I hate this world, and I am looking forward to the time I die. Therefore, I can't feel too bad for those that die.

I guess a lot of this damned grief is from those that feel they have 'lost' something. Mainly their friend, family, or loved one. Whatever, you should be glad they aren't suffering anymore. Quit being selfish and Celebrate their departure!!!!! Celebrate their life, I mean come on! THey had a great life, and they are moving on towards who know's what. Death is the last great adventure. We seem to forget this when we are in the trows of grief. Grief in and of itself is a selfish act, I think.

HA!!! THis life is driving me nuts! Well, actually it's not that bad. Life is just more complicated than I would like it to be. I mean Uncle Elwin, my grandmother's uncle, just died on Saturday. I don't know what to do, i feel a little sad, but I am not overwhelmed with grief or anything. I think I passed my mid term on Thursday, I had it working nice, and it was giving all the correct answers in a nice format. I have so much homework that I might just die, and i have to go get a kid in like 5 minutes from school and take care of him this weekend. HAVE YOU EVER TRIED TO DO HOMEWORK WITH A KID PLAYING VIDEO GAMES IN THE SAME ROOM???? It almost doesn't happen. Hopefully I can get some of the Palendrome program done today. I think I will have Kyle come over here after I go to the store. OH geez i gotta take a kid to the store!!! It's not bad to take a kid to the store it's just a little disconcerting when they go completely crazy. Not to mention that this one is gonna want to buy everything in the store, he does not understand the value of money, or the fact that our family does not have that much. I love my little cousin, it's like having a little brother.

Okay I will finish this entry after I get back from the store and picking up of Kyle.
